We are excited to start a new chapter in our lives and we are making San Saba County, TX a big part of that.
You would be hard pressed to find a more diverse outdoor environment than there is in San Saba. The Colorado River has been carving out the terrain here for thousands of years and has done one beautiful job! High rocky cliffs and grassy pastures follow the river through the county.
Oak, Pecan, Mesquite and Cedar trees are abundant. The size of some of these trees is amazing. You can sense the history that has passed them by through the years.
With this terrain, wildlife is everywhere. Deer, turkey and feral hog sightings are an everyday occurrence. San Saba is also a migratory stopping grounds for hundreds of thousands of dove and robins.
All of this is the inspiration for San Saba Outdoors. Stop by once in a while if you need a break from the everyday grind and check out our pictures of what we consider our outdoor little piece of heaven.
